In owl, we can use set operations like intersectionOf, unionOf and compementOf to define class extension.
My question is whether we can use these operations together, and if so, what's the relationship among them?
For example:
<owl:Class rdf:ID="A">
<owl:intersectionOf rdf:parseType="collection">
<owl:Class rdf:about="#B">
<owl:Class rdf:about="#C">
</owl:intersctionOf>
<owl:Class>
This class expression defines the extension of class A as: B AND C.
How about the following one?
<owl:Class rdf:ID="A">
<owl:intersectionOf rdf:parseType="collection">
<owl:Class rdf:about="#B">
<owl:Class rdf:about="#C">
</owl:intersctionOf>
<owl:unionOf rdf:parseType="collection">
<owl:Class rdf:about="#D">
<owl:Class rdf:about="#E">
</owl:unionOf >
<owl:Class>
Can we say the extension of A is: (B AND C) AND (D OR E)? or something else?
Seems the document from w3c doesn't mention this issue
