两会，英文译为"two sessions"，指的是全国人民代表大会(NPC=the National People's Congress)和中国人民政治协商会议(CPPCC=Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference)。每年3月份，两会先后召开全体会议一次，每5年称为一届。

　　两会召开在即，各地人大代表和政协委员都已陆续抵京。人大代表英译为"deputy of the National People's Congress"或者"NPC deputy"，是人民代表大会代表的简称。具有提出议案、质询，选举和罢免政权机关领导人等权利。政协委员的英译为"member of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference"或"CPPCC member"，是中国人民政治协商会议的成员。具有行使表决权、选举权和被选举权等权利。

1.应聘者接到一个电话后要求面试官离开自己的办公室，因为那是一次"私人"谈话。  
Candidate answered cell phone and asked the interviewer to leave her own office because it was a "private" conversation.

2.应聘者告诉面试官这份工作自己做不长，因为他认为在叔叔去世后也许能继承一笔遗产--他的叔叔"看上去不算太好"。  
Applicant told the interviewer he wouldn't be able to stay with the job long because he thought he might get an inheritance if his uncle died - and his uncle wasn't "looking too good."

3.应聘者问面试官能不能稍后送他/她回家。
The job seeker asked the interviewer for a ride home after the interview.

4.应聘者闻着腋窝走进面试房间。
The applicant smelled his armpits on the way to the interview room.

5.应聘者称自己无法提供写作样稿，因为所有的写作都给了中央情报局(CIA)而且它们都属于"机密"件。  
Candidate said she could not provide a writing sample because all of her writing had been for the CIA and it was "classified."

6.应聘者告诉面试官上次解雇的原因是揍了那位雇主。  
Candidate told the interviewer he was fired for beating up his last boss.

7.应聘者拒绝了面试前提供的食物--称自己不想在出去喝酒前用油脂垫肚子。
When the applicant was offered food before the interview, he declined saying he didn't want to line his stomach with grease before going out drinking.

8.应聘者说她是"和人打交道"而不是"和数字打交道"的人--可她面试的职位是会计。
An applicant said she was a "people person" not a "numbers person" -- in her interview for an accounting position.

9.应聘者在一次电话面试中边和招聘经理谈话边冲马桶。
During a phone interview the candidate flushed the toilet while talking to hiring manager.

10.应聘者拿出一把梳子开始梳头。
The applicant took out a hair brush and brushed her hair.
